1. Khushboo Kesharwani

I have received my B.Sc in 2016 and M.Sc. Chemistry in 2018 as University Rank holder from Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Sagar Madhya Pradesh. I have qualified GATE and MPSET examination in 2018. Since September 2019, I have been a Ph.D. student in Applied Organic Chemistry in the KBJ research group. My research interests centred around “Rationally Designed Short Peptide Conjugates for Multifarious Applications”.

2. Satyendra K. Tripathi

I have Completed B.Sc (2015) form University of Allahabad and M.Sc (2017) in Chemistry from Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Sagar(M.P.). I have been recipient of prestigious INSPIRE fellowship scheme from 2012 to 2017 and also qualified CSIR-UGC NET-JRF in JUNE 2019 and GATE 2020. Presently I am working with KBJ research group as Senior Research Fellow (SRF), and “Preparation and Characterization of Anti-Alzheimer’s Drug loaded Peptide Based Nanoparticles and Their Kinetic Modeling” is a pivotal theme of my present research work.

I have completed B.Sc (2019) and M.Sc Chemistry (2021) from Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Sagar(M.P.). I joined the KBJ research group in Feb 2022 and am working in the field of Bio-organic Chemistry. My main research work is dealing with peptide chemistry and its application in various fields and the pivotal theme of my research work is:- “Nano-strategies in peptide nanotechnology: Exploiting biomimetic short peptide conjugates”.

I have completed B.Sc (2019) and M.Sc Chemistry (2021) from Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Sagar(M.P.). I joined the KBJ research group in Feb 2022 and am working as Project Associate-I, in the SERB-CRG project, titled: - “Multifunctional peptide conjugates (MPCs) assisted drug formulations: Promising therapeutics for multifarious medical application”. Here I am dealing with the design and synthesis of short multifunctional peptide conjugates that are proposed for the devolvement of antibacterial or antibiofilm agents and nano-formulations of conventional drugs of interest to combat MDR/AMR-related issues during various treatments. Such strategic-drug-chimeric molecule- nano-formulations, indeed, is a promising strategy and may have significant therapeutic merits.

I have Completed B.Sc (2016) from Utkal University and M.Sc Chemistry (2018) from Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Sagar (M.P.). I joined the KBJ research group in June 2022. My research work mainly focuses on the self-assemblies of biological molecules, rational peptide design, and their applications in synthetic biology and bionanotechnology.

8. Dr. Shradhey Gupta

I joined Dr. K. B. Joshi’s group as a CSIR-Research Associate in March 2016. Before joining, I got PhD in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 2015.  The title of PhD thesis is “Spectroscopic Investigation of Alcohol-Chlorinated Methane Synergistic Binary Solvent Mixtures and its Application” which substantially outlines the genesis of synergistic behavior in alcohol-chlorinated methane binary solvent mixtures, by using steady-state, ultrafast spectroscopic methods and analytical models. At Present I am working in this group as N-PDF (DST-SERB) research fellow.

9. Dr. Vishal J. Suryavanshi

I have been associated with Dr. K. B. Joshi’s group as a research associate from March 2018 and worked till 2019. Theme of my  research work was “Value Added Peptide Conjugates for Biological and Medical Application”. Prior to join his group I was associated with Mylan Laboratories Ltd., Hyderabad. I have completed my B. Sc. (2008), M. Sc. (2010) and Ph. D. (2016) in Chemistry from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. I did my Ph. D under the supervision of Dr. G.N. Mulik and Dr M. A. Anuse and the thesis compiled with a title, Solvent extraction studies of some transition metal ions using high molecular weight amines.

D. Postdoctoral Fellow(s)

After completing his M.Sc (2013) as a university rank holder in Chemistry from Dr. HariSingh Gour Central University, Sagar(M.P.) he worked with this group from 2013 till 2017. His doctoral work was based on bio- inspired self assembled nanostructures for advanced application. His thesis was compiled with the title “Synthesis and Evolution of Bio-inspired Novel Chemical Entities for Advanced Biological Applications”. After completing his postdoctoral fellowship as a Claude Leon Postdoctoral fellow under the supervision of Prof. Marina Rautenbach, BIOPEP group, University of Stellenbosch S. A, he joined Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore as DSK-PDF under the supervision of Prof. Tushar K. Chakraborty.

He has done his M.Sc (2013) in Chemistry from Kumaun University  Nainital and cleared CSIR-UGC-NET-JRF examination in DEC 2015 and GATE 2016. He worked with this group from Aug 2016 till Jan 2022. His doctoral work was based on peptide based unique nanoarchitectures for   plausible biomedical applications. His thesis was compiled with the title “Design synthesis and application of short peptide conjugates: a unique paradigm for creating novel nano-architectures. He is currently working as Postdoctoral Fellow at Indian Institute of Technology-Gandhinagar (IIT-G), under the supervision of Dr. Dhiraj D.
